Mar. 21st, 2013 02:40 amLenny - Three years older than Fry, now at Oxford University studying maths. Asperger Syndrome. Legally seperated from his parents due to abuse. Sometimes stays with the Sandhus during holidays.
Fry's Class
Joanne Anderson - A few months older than Fry. Usually the most compassionate of the group. Aspergers and depression. Can estimate room temperature to the nearest degree. Born Joseph Anderson, attended the same primary school as Fry for her first two years, began gender reassignment at twelve, name changed by deed poll at the age of fifteen, currently living with Grandmother. Has one younger brother, Alfie, with severe autism, who is in care.
Katherine (Kathy) Hodge - A year older than Fry. Curly red hair. Lively and cheerful whether or not it is appropriate to be. Aspergers and ADHD. Likes to skateboard. Parents keen on trying therapy after therapy in hope of a 'cure', most of which Kathy refuses to take.
Liam Conway - A year younger than Fry. Short, skinny, fluffy brown hair. Aspergers (late diagnosis). Liam hates to have attention drawn to himself in a positive manner as this has led to him being bullied. He actively rejects Dan (who he will only refer to as 'Gates') and regularly declares his loathing and rejection for his long-term-privately schooled classmates, who he feels look down on him for coming from a disadvantaged background. This in turn leaves him lonely, as the others struggle with his hostility.
Florence "Xyle" Nightingale - A few months older than Fry. Late diagnosis of Asperger's. Lives with older, very conservative parents, three years older brother Frank, three years younger sister Esther. Does not disclose her reason for starting in the middle of a term initially, but alludes to coming out of a very difficult relationship. Xyle loves to use long words, and often does so ironically, so as to irritate people who annoy her. Hates her birth name. Also keen on plant biology - her nickname is a complicated pun of Phloem and Xylem.
Jorden Jameson - Black with tiny plaited hair. Two years younger than Fry, congenitally deaf with Asperger's. Jordan is considered a 'workaholic' and has a very serious nature. She lipreads fluently but signs if the opportunity is there.
Nimesh Sharma - Two years younger than Fry. One of the few of his companions who is good at lying. Has a passion for arcade machines and can often predict which way the coins will fall. Used to hang around with Candy as they started at the same time, despite both claiming they couldn't stand one another.
Riley Thompson - Two years younger than Fry, joined school age 14. Short, scrawny and always seen in a beanie hat and bow tie regardless of what other clothes he is wearing. Riley suffers from dyspraxia and a lack of special awareness. He wants to be a journalist and enjoys creative writing.

James McDonald - Two years older than Fry, high functioning autism, usually non-verbal but an excellent singer. Likes Pokemon and travelling on trains, tends to wander off on his own.
Maurice Baxter - Usually same year as Fry, slightly older. Short, dark and bespectacled. Asperger Syndrome and OCD. Likes things to be arranged in threes. Blossomed when given the chance to be form captain and has gained confidence. Lives with same sex mums but now in touch with biological father on the understanding that a third parent would be superfluous but a chess partner would be fine. As of 2024, now in the class above.
Daniel (Dan) Forsyth - Tall and blonde. Aspergers (late diagnosis), agoraphobia, anxiety. Targetted by a gang of kids who took advantage of him and then threatened him with violence. Dropped out of The Gates, a very posh public school, and lives in a mansion on the outskirts of Holby. Generally accompanied by a female bodyguard (usually Sally) who blends in as a school cleaner or teaching assistant. Now in the class above.
Ollie - Short and blonde, usually smiling. Severe autism, epilepsy and learning disability. Same age as Fry. Likes to draw people's freckles. Almost everyone likes Ollie, because of his gentle nature.
Silas - Same age as Fry, is in the middle class of the same age group. Aspergers and anxiety. Silas and Fry fell out when substitute English teacher Mrs Hayes was coming down hard on Fry - Silas landed Fry in trouble, and Fry told on him. Since then there has been friction between the pair. Silas fears for his future and becomes frustrated if other people flaunt good grades.
Lester Witherspoon - Three years younger than Fry. Cerebral palsy and autistic spectrum, however highly intelligent. Wheelchair user. Lester doesn't take crap from anyone, especially his cousin Patrick (see below), and is very blunt.
Imran - Three years younger than Fry. Only referred to in passing, not been met in text. Fry comments that his main hobby is collecting bus timetables so he shouldn't be any trouble. Same class as Jorden, Nimesh and Lester.
Other
Patrick Witherspoon - Long term rival of Fry from primary school, now attends The Gates. Pushy mother who insists on fuelling said rivallry. Has a cousin with cerebral palsy, Lester.
Candice (Candy) - Started at the same time as Nimesh after being bullied at her old school. Struggled to make friends at Jackson Street as she was always hoping for more girls. Currently moved to Coral's school, Holby High, where she is living as a closet person with Asperger's.
Simon - Two years older than Fry. Expelled from Jackson street for drugs offences.
Nigel - Two years older than Fry. Currently serving time for GBH.
Marcus Wong - Domineering twin brother of Jamie Wong. Moved to Japan in 2024
Jamie Wong - A year younger than Fry. One of identical twins (neurotypical brother Marcus). Likely high functioning autism with speech delay. Excellent pianist. Best friends with Liam, who dominates the interaction, but gained confidence since under his twin's thumb. Moved to Japan in 2024
